The Cats put on more than a concert—they invite the audience from the very first note to enter a wild, wonderful world of stories, dance, puppets and props, all backed by a band making great music that just happens to be for kids. Combining backgrounds in children's theater, musical theater and early childhood music education, lead singer Janet Schreiner's instant connection with audiences makes the Cats a favorite everywhere they perform. Since 1995, The Cats Pajamas have been dazzling audiences at venues including the Kimmel Center, Sesame Place, World Cafe Live, Sunoco's Welcome America, Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Ocean City Music Pier.
The Cats also take their show on the road to such national venues as The Regent Theatre, Boston; Eric Carle Museum, MA; Williams College Museum of Art; Jammin’ Java, VI; Edgecombe College, NC, and Infinity Hall, CT.
