Upstairs at World Cafe Live will continue the tradition of providing a platform for the best of Philadelphia’s emerging songwriters with a week-long showcase of the region’s finest. Artists will be encouraged to submit their work for inclusion, culminating in a line-up of over 30 performances throughout the week that will serve as a showcase for industry professionals as well as for fans looking to discover new artists.
Sunday's winners will be chosen by a panel of expert judges
The final night will feature the week’s best performers, who will be rewarded with prizes including a spot on the Philly Local stage of WXPN’s All About The Music festival, and an opportunity to contribute a song to an upcoming Paste Magazine compilation CD, providing invaluable national exposure.
