Joe D’Amico Band
Joe DâAmico Band
Joe D’Amico’s new album, A Short Time’s A Long Time once again finds him outside his comfort zone, this time working closely with his band experimenting with different and longer song formats. Sonically rich and full of melodic instruments and vocal harmonies, the album draws from a wide pallet of rock and folk, combining ideas from past to present into a beautiful 10 track album. Lyrically Joe focuses on the transition from 20’s to 30’s, becoming a father, and the joy, anxiety and perspective that have come with these changes. The songs develop both individually and together as an album, and are fully realized and driven by his band.
August John Lutz II (of Levee Drivers)
Levee Drivers' music embodies the sounds of old country souls being reborn into tomorrow's rock. Their music is a modern take on the story-telling of Johnny Cash, driven by early country and blues roots with a startling vocal rendition likened to a cross of Bruce Springsteen and Ryan Adams. Singer/songwriter August John Lutz II and his band Levee Drivers embrace an eclectic mix of sound that engages listeners of all ages and across many genres.
Foxhound is a Folk duo hailing from the rolling hills of Philadelphia. Made up of members from the The Lowlands and Hezekiah Jones, Foxhound combines previous styles into a new sort of Psychedelic Appalachian folk music. Like ghosts living underwater. Simple and heart felt lyrics set in harmony provide the content to sweeping fiddle lines and fine guitar fingerpicking. Individually, the duo's past musical history is vast, each having toured the country several times over with major acts such as Good Old War, Amos Lee, and The Wood Brothers. Their debut show is sure to strike gold in the hearts of fans of their previous efforts.
